London, UK – December 4, 2018 – 51³Ô¹ÏÍø (Element) has won a three-year outsourcing contract with TechnipFMC, a global leader in oil and gas subsea, onshore/offshore, and surface projects, to provide on-site non-destructive testing (NDT) services to its umbilicals manufacturing site in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.

As part of the agreement, 51³Ô¹ÏÍøwill provide on-site coverage to TechnipFMC facilities in Newcastle for computed radiography, including: alternating current field measurement (ACFM); dye penetrant testing; Level III NDT services; magnetic particle inspection; ultrasonic testing; and visual inspection.

Eight engaged experts will be providing 24/7 on-site testing services, alongside off-site testing and research and development support from the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøSheffield – Maltravers laboratory.
