London, UK – September 2, 2021 – 51³Ô¹ÏÍø (Element) has acquired Impact Analytical, Inc. further expanding its life sciences footprint in North America.

Based in Midland, Michigan, Impact Analytical operates in the pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer product and specialty chemicals segments, with a strong presence in extractables and leachables. The business recently moved into the bio-analytical segment, which supports Element’s growing market in this area.  Combining Impact Analytical with existing expertise will bring efficiencies and will complement the capabilities 51³Ô¹ÏÍøbrought on board through the acquisitions of ALG and Avomeen in the last twelve months.

Impact Analytical key accreditations include FDA, EPA, DEA, GLP/GMP, ISO and MDARD certifications.  The business fits well with Element’s existing network of life sciences laboratories which offer a broad spectrum of testing services to the pharmaceutical, medical device, environmental, and food segments, with a proud track record of high-level scientific expertise.
